I’m on the road and heading for Goulburn and were having morning tea there. The big merino in Goulburn and did you know that the big merino weighs more than 92tons that is 46 of our cars.

Well our friend Matt was right, we didn’t get away at 7am, but we managed to depart at 7.10am, not to bad.
I have turned on Google Latitude and hopefully, while we are in the Telstra Mobile coverage area, you should see where we are on the map.
The boys we post an update when we reach our first stop.

Karen’s New Toy
Hi Everyone,
Karen was very excited today to finally receive her mini 3.2kg Washing Machine and Spin Dryer that she found online a few weeks ago. We tested the machine tonight with a small load of washing and spun it dry. Karen is so happy at how well it worked that she posted the photos below on her facebook page. I have given it the nickname of Wasser the Washer, as it has the brand name of Wasser printed the top of the machine.
Hopefully it will fit inside the bathroom in the van where we will be able to use it for mini loads of washing as required. The boys will be happy as they won’t have to use hand wash bucket.
In some other news, we managed to fit the bumper bar to the back of the van and bolted a jerrycan holder to the bar. This will allow us to carry an extra 20 litres of diesel for the longer sections of the trip.

Preparing for the trip.
Hi Everyone,
We are now well into our preparation for the trip. The car has had a snorkel installed and a DP-Chip (diesel performance chip) is getting installed this weekend. Hopefully these modifications will improve the performance and fuel economy of the car, especially when towing.
Karen has most of our stuff ready to go straight into the van once we bring it back from the farm where it is stored when not in use. Thanks Noni.
