End of the first day.

Hi Everyone,

We have just arrived at first stop, 75km short of our scheduled stop, just east of Balranald in south western NSW. We decided to stop early due to fading light and some rain. It’s a nice little spot which is near a dam and is of the highway away from truck noise. There is also a motorhome parked near by.

It has been an interesting 862km today, stopping at Goulburn for morning tea, then Wagga Wagga for some lunch and fuel then some more fuel in Hay before our first stop. We saw a number of controlled grass burn offs on the way before seeing a number of emus along the way here from Hay.

Off to Port Pirie early tomorrow morning, so bye for now.

Cheers,
Tom.
